Background: The problem of unsanitary dental and that is influenced by several individual perceptionfactors including perception knowledge, relatives people, desires. Tofind out whether the people desires have a relationshiptoward oral hygiene in respondents with primary hypertension.Material Method: This research was an analytical observation using cross-sectional study. Thepopulation patients hypertension, purposive sampling technique applied throughpath analysis test.Results: results showed relationship knowledge toward primaryhypertension, it obtained p 0.560> ? 0.05, itwas 0.394> 0,05, desire pvalue 0.762> 0.05. Based on three variables perception, Ha has but does notseem significant. Perception health, 0.368> 0.05 so Haobtained not seem Next, perceptions value 0.040 <?
